Snowman Wrap Up Basket & Robe Folding Instructions
Robe Folding
Step 1. Lay out
the robe, with sides straight and arms extended flat.
Place a rectangular block of foam in the “chest” of the robe.
Step 2. Begin
the fold by twist-rolling the arms toward the center.
Step 3. Repeat
with the opposite arm. Roll the sides in toward the center.
Step
4. Begin rolling up the hem end of the robe, rolling it almost to the
waist.
Step
5. Lift the block of foam so that it is sitting upright at the waist.
Unroll the hem of the robe over the foam block. Lay the block with the
robe back down in its original “chest” position. Pull the shoulders
of the robe over the block.

Step
6. Pick up the folded robe on the block and set it inside a box.
Step
7. Use the belt from the robe to tie the robe in the box to the basket.
Pull the belt across the front of the robe. Wrap the belt around the
handles of the basket, bringing both ends to the back. Snugly tie the
belt at the back.
Step 8. Pull
the outer layer of the hem of the robe (folded to the chest) to roll it
into a pocket that will slightly overhand the handle of the basket.
Pull the second layer slightly to make a more narrow ridge or
pocket above the original rolled pocket.

Snowman Wrap Up Basket Instructions
Step
1. Fill the bottom of the
basket with a small packing box, wrapped in packing paper. Wedge
crumpled packing paper around the box to keep it in place. Wrap and fold
the man’s robe around a rectangular block of foam. Set the wrapped
robe inside a large BoxCo box. Use the robe ties to secure the robe and
box to the basket handles.
Step
2. Set the boxed slippers against the BoxCo box, wedging it under the
handles or using heavy duty double-stick tape to secure it. Pull and
adjust the robe to create a pocket that will hang just slightly over the
top of the boxed slippers. Pull and adjust the robe to create a second
pocket. Use corsage pins, if needed to keep the adjusted wraps of the
robe in place.
Step 3. Place
the Snowman head container (from Flowers, Inc. Balloons) on the
robe-covered foam block. Use a corsage pin to secure the head container
to the block.
Step 4. Pack
the small foot therapy items in the sculpted pockets of the robe.
Step 5. Wedge
the frame and book at left and right angles in the front of the basket,
pressing them into the crumpled packing paper.
Step 6. Finish
by adding the footcare kit on the left in front of the frame, and two
packets of cocoa on the right in front of the book.
Place items as shown at diagonals to the right and left sides.
Tuck the herbal heat pack in the center.
Step 7. Shrink
or cello wrap the design, wrapping a wide wired ribbon around the
“neck” of the snowman for a final decorative touch. Add other shred
and ribbons as desired.
